I left yesterday to make my way to Hanoi so I could meet up with my fam bam for a week in Vietnam. Travel is great except when getting to a destination gets more painful than you expect.

After boarding my flight, they realized that there was an issue with a panel on the plane. So we sat for about 2 hours on the tarmac, then got deboarded and a new plane was assigned. Which means a delay of 4.5 hours. Wouldn't have been bad except that meant I miss my connection in Korea to Hanoi. I rolled with it and Delta did well. By the time I got to Korea, they took care of the rebooking and got me on a flight the next morning with a night hotel stay and dinner. It does mean a morning less of sightseeing missed with my family but it could have been worse. On the other hand, I got to eat Korean food in Korea and it tastes so much better.

On that note, I am now making my way to Vietnam. My sisters did tons of fantabulous planning and I am so excited about this trip. Stay tuned to hear about how it goes!
