Time for a vacation - Turkiye

It's that time of the year again. I'm on vacation in Turkiye - a country that has been on my list for a long time.
Stay tuned to read more about my adventures. I'm already sure that a week will be too short. Appreciate all the recommendations from so many.
Today's post is quick.
We got here tonight on a direct flight from Seattle. Checked into the Historia Hotel in Sultanehmet Square and headed out to dinner. We went to a lovely restaurant called Sarnic Restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal there. Tried Turkish sherbet for the first time as well as some other beautiful dishes. And I FINALLY got Harneet to eat some olive bread and actually enjoy it. Goes to show that if you try hard enough, nothing's impossible 🤣.

With tummies full, we wandered the streets at night and took in a brightly lit Haggia Sophia and Blue Mosque before heading back to our hotel room.

We have a superbly packed day tomorrow and it's midnight - so prepping by getting in some winks.
Talk soon! Good night!
